I need to hang out and have a beer with Yusaf just once before I die. Seems like such a mad genius! Love his vocals on this and the album as a whole is brilliant! DCLXVI
WOW! This album strikes like a thunderclap and throws you into a churning hailstorm interspersed with glorious color as the light refracts from the crystals. A howling, turbulent, thrashing sea and pelting rainy gale upon the rocky mountainside. Enslaved also maintain their crown of “progressive:” not wanky noodly noodly stuff, but thought-provoking, unexpected, and COLORFUL shifts and turns of rhythm, chord, key, and mood. Very Rush-like. A true privilege to see them at Fire in the Mountains. pinkytheent
Lightly deathified dad rock - each song offers something different to the table. The Blue Öyster Cult energy is strong, the vocals charming, and the guitars absolutely enchanting! baguettalus
Friends of and artists inspired by visionary solo acoustic guitarist Jack Rose celebrate his music and life on this loving tribute album. Bandcamp New & Notable Jun 21, 2022
Swirling guitars, furious drums, vocals that at the same time howl from infinite distance and are right up in your head; everything put into dissonant form with the help of unconventional songwriting. This album is my personal key to the icelanding black metal madness that I've ignored for way too long! Lukas Kaufmann
